the help essay

in the movie "the help" there was countless acts of discrimination and racism toward the color people. in this essay i will discribe what acts happened to the people and how they were treated.

the first example would be that people squashed their dreams whe they were young. they did that because in the movie abileen said that she knew she was going to be a maid because her mom was one and her grandmother was a house slave.

the second example would be that the white people controlled how much money they could have. one way was one of the maids wanted both of her sons to go to college but she had only enough money for one she asked the person she asked for but she said no and that she was doing it for the benefit of her.

lastly they did not want the maids to use their bathrooms because "they had different dieses than them". the way they did that was they made a law to where the maids got their own bathroom and noone else used it but them.

sadly those people had to go through that but now it has stopped and they do not have to go through anymore injustice anymore.
