coming to the united states in 1870's

1) Immigrants that came to the united states were unhappy because it took a long time to get here. immigrants from Europe the trip was about a week.Sadly for the immigrants from asia were on the boat for almost THREE WEEKS not cool.

 2) Ellis island and Angel island were some of the main immigration processing stations in the U.S. I know if i was an immigrant i would not be happy because all of those people asking me a lot of questions that i would not know how to answer would frustrate me.


3) Dennis Kearny tried to stop chinese immigration in the U.S with the Chinese Exclusion Act. If i was a chinese immigrant i would have been furious because i have the same right as the next person.


4) Japan's government limited emigration of unskilled workers to the U.S for exchange of the repeal of San Fransisco's segregation order
